It’s Self-Care Time!
If you haven’t already started your winter break, you should be starting it soon! Please let Self-Care be one of your top priorities!
All the worries from school can sit tight until the new year, so be sure to leave them at school. Take time to do the things you enjoy. Play a few mindless games on your device, console, or phone, binge-watch that series you’ve been meaning to see for months, and enjoy all the foods you’ve been waiting for. (I believe I heard calories don’t count for school counselors for at least the rest of December!)
School counselors work so hard each and every day, so my wish is that you take some time for YOU!! If you absolutely MUST do something for school, try to wait until you are closer to the end of your break!
The Savvy School Counselor blog posts will continue the week of January 2, 2023!
Have a restful and relaxing winter break, and enjoy the Holiday Season with your family and friends!
